Dual-Condenser Distillation
Another feature on the Techno-dry is the dual-condenser distillation system. Most other machines use a single condenser in their distillation process. While this distills the perc, Techno-dry dual-condenser system does the same job using far less energy. In the dual condenser system the cool dirty perc is used to condense the hot perc vapors from the still. This process occurs in the first condenser unit. In the second condenser unit, the warm liquid perc is cooled to a usable temperature. Using the cool dirty perc to condense the hot perc from the still does two things. First, it condenses the vapors without taxing the refrigeration system. Secondly, the cool dirty perc is pre-heated to approximately 200"F on the way to the still. This means less energy is used during the distillation process.
